Why did you sign up?
It seemed like a good thing to do.  I've been to India for family, tourism, religious pilgrimage and for learning.  This will be the first time I am specifically going to serve the Church and the less fortunate there.



What do you hope to get out of the experience?

I hope to gain some perspective, as it will be trying to see someone suffering in some way and not be able to do much to help other than to be there and spend time with them.
